Sitka D. Stueve, CEO & Senior Counselor

Mrs. Stueve is committed to providing the highest-level of service whether you are needing counseling, coaching or supervision.   She utilizes a variety of traditional modalities, including: Cognitive-behavioral, Psychodynamic & Solution-focused therapies. 

Sitka D. Stueve is a Clinical Social Worker who is licensed in Kansas & Missouri. She has a diverse background in multiple practice settings. She has served as an IOP Clinician, as the Western Region Program Director at Preferred Family Healthcare; she served for six years at Wyandot Center for Behavioral Healthcare as a Supervisor & as a Mental Health Counselor. Most recently, she served the Marine Corp as the Regional Director of Psychological Health of the Midwest Region for the past five years, prior to founding Dawning of a New Day Counseling.

She is a University of Kansas Graduate,  who throughout her 20 years of clinical practice, has had extensive training and experience working with military stress & trauma; relational distress & dynamics; communication & conflict resolution issues; and is a Preferred Provider for Anxiety & Depressive Issues, Eating Disorder Problems &  Financial Planning.  She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Coaching Professional, Certified Substance Abuse Professional, a Prepare & Enrich Marriage Facilitator & a Clinical Supervisor.
